From some testing I'm doing with Adobe Media Encoder' higher quality 422 modes for ProRes, DNxHR/D and Cineform; ProRes HQ 422 is the best overall quality while DNxHR HQ is the fastest to encode(on windows) Both are nearly lossless either way. Decode testing on the way soon.On twitter.com

Still finishing up the encode test first and it seems Cineform is just beating out ProRes in quality... By 0.02 SSIM. And it has to be 50% larger to achieve this, overall doesn't seem worth itPermalink On twitter.com
